Why is my Frigidaire dishwasher not draining?

- Inspect the drain pump cavity. With the filter out, shine a flashlight in. Look for glass shards, fruit pits, or labels jammed in the impeller. Remove with needle-nose pliers.
- Force a drain cycle. On most modern Frigidaire dishwashers, press and hold the Cancel/Drain button for 3 seconds to trigger a drain-only cycle. The dishwasher pumps out water for 90 seconds. If nothing happens, the pump or solenoid is the issue.
