The first section, laid out in 1959 by developer Matt Jetton, with more than 900 homes finished by 1970. Ranch houses around Lake Carroll on generous lots. Original kitchens have been remodelled once or twice, which usually means a modern appliance sitting in a cabinet opening cut for a 1965 one.

Heat. Tampa averages a daily high of 91°F from June through August under the 1991–2020 NOAA climate normals. A refrigerator does not make cold, it moves heat out of the box and into the room — so the hotter the room, the harder the condenser works to do the same job.
