A refrigerator on Island Estates that runs all day and still can't keep the milk cold. A dryer in Countryside that takes two cycles for one load of towels. I'm Anatoli — the owner who answers (813) 522-0014; I or Nick, my technician, comes to the door. I do appliance repair in Clearwater and across Pinellas County, FL: refrigerator repair, freezers and ice makers, dryer repair, washing machines, ovens and dishwashers, plus Sub-Zero and other built-ins. The $69 diagnostic applies 100% to the repair, you get the price in writing before I open anything, and if I can't fix it, you don't pay.

My Clearwater route
I cover all of Clearwater: downtown and the Cleveland Street district, Harbor Oaks, Clearwater Beach and Island Estates across the Memorial Causeway, Sand Key, Morningside, Countryside and the streets around Countryside Mall, Coachman Ridge, and the neighborhoods along Belcher Road and McMullen Booth Road out to the bay. The usual ZIP codes are 33755, 33756, 33759, 33761, 33765 and 33767. I come across the Courtney Campbell Causeway onto Gulf-to-Bay, or down US 19 when I am already working the north county.
Clearwater borders Dunedin to the north, Safety Harbor and Oldsmar on the bay side, and Largo and Pinellas Park to the south. I route the whole Pinellas day together, so a beach condo gets the same $69 diagnostic and the same written price as a house in Zephyrhills — no zone fee, no causeway surcharge.

What breaks in Clearwater homes — and why
Salt air, on the beach and off it. On Clearwater Beach, Island Estates and Sand Key the refrigerator's condenser coil, the compressor start relay and the spade terminals behind the kick plate corrode years earlier than they would inland, and a lanai or garage freezer goes first. The symptom is a fridge that runs longer every month, then a compressor that clicks and will not start. A coil cleaning and a new relay are cheap; a compressor cooked by a corroded relay is not. In the condo towers I also see compact and built-in refrigerators packed into cabinets with no airflow, which shortens the life of the condenser fan — the refrigerator lifespan guide explains why the cabinet matters as much as the brand.
Hard water and dryer vents. Clearwater's tap water is treated Floridan-aquifer groundwater — clean, but hard enough that ice makers clog, inlet valves stick and dishwashers scale up unless the filter gets changed. An ice maker that makes small, cloudy cubes and then nothing is usually the fill tube or the valve, not the ice maker itself. In the 1950s–60s block homes between US 19 and the harbor the other classic is a long dryer vent to an exterior wall, packed with lint, that blows the thermal fuse and doubles drying time; I clean the vent as part of a dryer not heating repair, because a new fuse in a clogged vent blows again by Christmas.
Countryside at middle age. A lot of Countryside houses have been through two or three sets of appliances, and the current set is often a builder package from a 2010s kitchen remodel — Samsung or LG french doors and front-load washers that reach the failure-prone years at five to eight. Those are usually worth fixing: an evaporator fan, a defrost heater, a drain pump or a door boot on a machine that age is routine. What is not worth it: a sealed-system leak on a twelve-year-old side-by-side, or a drum bearing on a ten-year-old front-loader. I say so at the diagnostic, before you spend anything beyond the $69 — and I check the control board on any appliance that stood in water during the 2024 storms before I trust it.
When can you actually get to Clearwater?
Honest answer, based on how the day is really scheduled. Pick what broke and when you're calling.
Brands I work on in Clearwater
Independent, not factory-authorized — which means I fix the appliance in front of me instead of following a warranty script, and I carry the parts that actually fail on these models.
Also Viking, Wolf, Thermador, Miele, Electrolux, Kenmore and the rest — every brand page.
Samsung ice makers, from Countryside to the beach
Countryside kitchens remodeled in the 2010s are full of Samsung french doors, and the call I get about them is nearly always the same: the ice maker in the door has frozen into one solid block, or the bucket is stuck and something clicks behind it. It is the most common Samsung complaint I run anywhere in Tampa Bay. A hair dryer buys you a week. The fix that lasts deals with where the moisture gets into the ice compartment and how it defrosts, instead of fitting the same part to fail again — the Samsung repair page lists the model families.
On Island Estates, Sand Key and Clearwater Beach, add salt air and hard water to that. Scale narrows the fill tube and the inlet valve, so the cubes come out small and cloudy before they stop, and that part of an ice maker repair has nothing to do with the brand. On a five-to-eight-year-old Samsung it is worth doing. If the same refrigerator also has a sealed-system leak at twelve, I'll tell you to stop spending.

When can I be in Clearwater?
Search data: Ubersuggest, U.S. monthly volume, Sep 2025 – Aug 2026. Clearwater searches for appliance repair peak in January and again in March–April and July — the winter residents arriving, then the first real heat — while May and June are the quiet months, which is when a same-day slot is easiest to get.
What Clearwater customers describe
BBB Accredited, A+ rated, and more than 200 five-star reviews across major platforms. I don't write testimonials for this page — read them in customers' own words, with names, towns and my replies, on the reviews page.
What Clearwater customers describe is unglamorous and consistent: the phone answered by the person who does the work, the fault explained in plain English, a written price before any part comes off the truck, and the refrigerator cold again the same day. If yours turns out to be a repair I would not pay for myself, you hear that just as plainly, and it costs you nothing.
