Why is my LG dishwasher not draining?

OE is LG's general drain error code. It means the dishwasher's water level sensor didn't detect water dropping at the expected rate during the drain cycle, so the unit gave up and threw the error. IE: Inlet fill problem

- Towel out standing water. Clear the tub.

- Inspect the drain hose route. Pull the toe kick, verify a high loop is in place before the disposal/sink connection. Straighten any kinks.

- Check the drain pump impeller. With the filter out, shine a flashlight into the pump cavity. Remove any visible debris with needle-nose pliers.
- Force a drain cycle. Press and hold the Start button for 5 seconds. The pump runs for 90 seconds. If no water moves, the pump has failed.
