Why is my Frigidaire refrigerator ice maker not working?

Ice maker cassette not seated

Auger motor or shaft jammed

Dispenser door flap stuck
In-door Frigidaire dispensers have a small flap that opens when you press the paddle. The rubber seal gets gummy from spilled drinks and sticks closed, or it tears and sticks open, letting warm air ruin the ice. Wipe the flap and seal with warm water. A replacement flap is an inexpensive part and a quick swap if the seal is torn.
Water inlet valve clogged or failed
Frigidaire inlet valves have a small mesh screen at the supply connection that catches sediment. In Tampa's hard water, that screen clogs in 3 to 5 years.
